A very striking portrait Mike. Superb rendition of the blues, set off against a nice soft background. Excellent sharpness. HA creates that bit of tension. I don't mind the centered image, although perhaps a bit more room on the left might give the bird more to look into. Great perch too!

I really like this image Mike. This really shows the beautiful detail in the jays tail and wings. The crest being up adds to the image too. I might add a little canvas to the left as well. Well done!
