I have average feeling about this image, but my wife and friends like it a lot, what do you think?

It's a classic morning fly-in of geese at the crane pool. You've captured the sky color nicely. Maybe a little CCW rotation.

I like the left to right swooping motion of the incoming geese in the sky. I'm sure this image must be quite spectacular in a much larger size!

Nice comments above. I also like this one a lot. And have to suggestions: one, post a larger version, two some CCW rotation would improve this image a lot. f

The patterns of the bird looks good and so does the setting. I'm not sure if it needs rotation, the hill range looks even, only the shoreline is tilted.

The pink is killer as are the bird patterns. The problem might be with the shutter speeds. With fairly distant birds, 1/40 is neither here nor there--not slow enough for a nice blur and too slow for really sharp... Been there, done that.

I agree with Artie here, the shutter speed is just to slow to freeze and just to fast to blur. Other than that a beautiful atmosphere and patterns.
