Very cold morning spent laying on the beach.
Not the birds i was hoping for but i got the tides all wrong and had to make do with what was still around.
Turnstones are notorious for never staying still all that long so it was nice to nail down a good pose for a change.

Paul:

Your bird is sharp, nice angle in frame,well exposed, nice low shooting angle.

Really only minor change I would make would be to consider toning down the purple area in front of the bird.

Nice one Paul. I like the setting. I think you could definitely add some more USM.

I like the angle and the pose of the bird.

Great image. I like the colors in the rocks and the eye contact. I agree with Randy on the purple area. It is a little distracting.

Looks like it could handle more USM. The pose and comp are great. I wish the background wasn't so bright as it distracts from the bird.
