Was very lucky to get this beauty flying at eye level . These are winter visitors to Mumbai and they flock there in numbers ranging from 10k to 25k . Just dont understand why they prefer the polluted environs of Mumbai ??

Made this with a Nikon D 200 and a 300mm f4 .

Cheers ,
Rakesh

One lovely flying pose Rakesh , nice wing pose and exposure spot on , to me , this bird needs more space in front to fly and sliver in back , Terrific BG here and image sharp enough from beak to feet

ps , IMHO all your beautiful images get spoilt by frames

Great lighting & BG Rakesh, nice and sharp too.
Does need more room in front and not a fan of frames/sig for web presentation either.

Guys, Thanx for your valuable suggestions. This is a full frame image . I too felt the need for more space in front of the bird . As far as the border goes, this was processed when I would use frames . I too agree the birds should not be bound :)

Rakesh, exposure..the BG..the wing position spot on..I agree with Harshad and Kiran as regards space ....this beauty has to have room to fly.
Best regards

Rakeshbhai ,
As this is FF , I added canvas digitally and used aspect 20 x 12 , if your ethics permit can be done very easily , let me know how it looks now , was difficult to do on 100kb file but on Original it will look great

Good sharpness, eye contact and BG. The additional space helps and I wish the wings were all the way up or down.

Rakesh....loved the shot. Among other things, loved the contrast between the bird and the BG.
