Hi Brent, Solid comp,nice foreground and interesting sky. The outflow is positioned well in the frame.Not quite sure why you needed to shoot an HDR seeing it's evenly lit.

Great HDR work! I don't think you could have gotten the detail and depth in the clouds without HDR.

Thanks for the comments....for the fun of it I went back and processed a non-HDR version of the same image...slight crop may not be the same as the HDR one.

Definitely a different feel to it...the clouds are not as intense...

I like the depth of tones created in the HDR. I am normally a cold toned person, but here I think adding a bit of warmth will improve the image in my estimation.

Hi Brent, Big difference! The hdr certainly made the details pop and gave the sky a new dimension. It also changed the reality of the image(darkening) but to my taste gave it more interest. As Robert suggested I would be curious to see how a bit of warmth would effect the overall...

I like it a lot. I am struggling with using HDRs in these circumstances because sometimes the sky appears unrealistic. Roman has not commented yet, but I am sure he will say Split ND filter. I like the HDR in this case...Great composition.

Hi Brent, very nice composition. It looks like it is tilted to the right and needs a little counter clock rotation. I put the image in lightroom and did graduated filter and clarity. also straighten the shoreline

Nicek used my grad ND filter comment:). I think if you try a multiplied layer on the sky using Robert's tutorial.....will really add drama as in the HDR. I think Dennis's repost is close!
