Taken one late afternoon in Kanha National Park, India, Nov '09.

As we approached this scene, I asked my driver to stop the vehicle but he was hesitant to stop because he thought the light was not good and since the deer was such a common species across the Indian forests (we could ignore her and go on). I forced him, and finally, he stopped. http://naturescapes.net/phpBB3/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif

Hi Kiran,
Beautiful species and I love the eye contact. Sharpness looks good and I like the DOF that you have chosen. Well done!
Best,

Really like the light in this one. I also like how the curve of the road and the treeline lead up and out of the frame. Healthy looking animal too.
