This is a picture from the archives. I have taken it a couple of years ago in the Northern Cape province of South Africa outside the small town of Kenhardt.

Hey Morkel,
All things considered....you got pretty good seperation in the trees. I like the way the clouds in the sky mimic the flow of the trees. I may prefer a bit less base.....but lets see what others chime in. Nice job with the sweet morning light!

Thanks Roman. I see it as a compliment that you confuse my work with Morkel's ;)

Hi Elmar, As Roman stated beautiful light with a sky that has alot of interest. The foreground is handled well where it's not dominant. I realise you have so many angles to work with based on the light direction but I would have preferred more separation or a smaller grouping...if possible...

Hi Elmar, very cool trees and sky. I agree on the base as lots of negative area as more sky as that is where the interest is.

Hi Elmar, great lighting and clouds, I like the foreground as included seems like just enough to me.

Love the image and the sky is great.. I'd go for a bit more sky and less FG....
