Went out for a quick run across the bay for this last night. Used a 10 stop neutral density filter to get a 100s exposure at f8 iso200. Just after sunset with some directional light still present.

Hi Paul, Beautiful light along with a pleasing sky. Due to the long exposure the water has a nice softness to it.
The lighthouse is almost centered which I'm debating about off centering it and showing a bit more water. I would remove the clipped tree on the right...

Paul I agree with Dave, other than the clipped tree. I think its a wonderful image.
The colors are really pleasing to the eye.

Very nice light. I would also like to see the the lighthouse a little more off center.

Thanks guys, I don't mind centered things, I like to bug the rule followers when I can. But I do think this crop strengthens it.

Paul, this is a beautiful picture. I love everything about it - the colours, the movement in the trees and especially the smooth texture of the water.

Paul, this is very simple image yet very powerful. Loved the long exposure but very sharp lighthouse. Congrats!!
