Wow what a week - just got back. Going to bed for a couple of days (Then ill be back) --- Long days, up at 3-4am and bed at 10-11pm.

Here is a real quick one.
D3
Nikon 500mm F4 with 1.7 X converter
F20
1/100TH
800ISO
Matrix metering
Handheld -resting on ledge of bird hide.

Was bust shooting these guys - didn't notice a wasp nest on the side of the bench in the hide - wandered into it and got myself about 20 wasp bites - sure was fun!! :)

Comments welcome - hope this looks OK - sure am tired.

Very sharp considering handholding long lens at 1/100s, good thinking in using ledge of the hide for support. Love the hanging/grabbing pose and the color, the translucent blur wing is nice too. Wish that the white reflection in the eye is a little smaller.

Glad that you had a wonderful trip (minus the 20 wasp bites).

Wow ... glad your OK That many bites besides being painful can be dangerous !!!!

Looks good for the slow shutter speed !!! Nice technique !!!
