Hi
I decided to take a trip out to find some of my favourite thrushes recently which always provide a good challenge as they are so wary. There seems to be good numbers of fieldfare and redwing that have arrived in the UK this winter and fortunately I managed to catch some in some rare sun in what has been the wettest November on record. A group of birds were feeding on a rowan and were descending en mass in the hit and run style of waxwings.
The background was a brick wall of a building behind the tree.
