I photographed this buck in early morning light late in summer. His antlers are still in velvet giving the impression that they are larger than they really are. Sorry for cutting off the legs, he was walking towards me filling the frame while I sat on a stool in full camo.
Slight crop to straighten image due to "buck fever":o Also cloned out some pesky flies around his head.

Hey Jim - This is the buck-in-velvet shot that I was trying to get last summer to no avail. Magnificent rack on this beast and the field fo flowers is a nice addition. I like the straight on composition on this one and I don't mind the location of the legs at all. Great image.

Handsome beast here Jim. Would like to see a little more room on the r/s and at the foot of the image. OOF flower doesn't worry me either. Seems to be comfortable with your presence.

Beautiful light on this Jim. Love the way it pops. Definitely comfortable with your prescience. Legs don't mind me as this crop / view works as well.
