Lots to like Curly. Can you remove some of the blue tint? Please repost if you do.

Dennis, It is lovely image. I felt it could be a great fit for B&W. Here is my take. I rendered it in B&W using Capture NX2 and while doing so, recovered the details on the wooden planks. Hope you didn't mind me playing with this image. Let me know how you find this.

regards,
ramesh

Dennis,

You can remove the blue color cast in a levels correction, hold down ALT key and move white slider until whit is showing - remember this point.

Move slider until white disappears. Then select the white eye dropper and click on the brightest point to set it to white.

Hi Dennis, It is a lovely, moody image. I can feel the weather kicking up. I think I like the image you color-corrected to remove the blue. I believe it looks more like the original scene played out in that kind of situation. How do you feel about it?

I love this image. I can feel the raw cold just looking at it, and I think the light being visible and the frozen tracks along the shore add to the overall feel of it.

I found the tilt of the light tower a bit distracting, but that's easily adjusted.

I also took a crack at toning down the blue cast. Your corrected version appears, on my monitor, to have a slight magenta cast in some places. I think
getting the color right in this one requires some selective adjustments.

Hi Dennis, David's repost does it for me. On previous posts there are color castes which are now eliminated. The strongest difference is the removal of the caste from the clouds.I also noticed the LH was leaning and would have suggested that correction.
Dennis, you caught an interesting moment and framed it well.

stunning shot here and David's repost also works best for me, although the B&W also has its merits. the lighthouse also bothered me all the way until it was corrected :)

Hey Dennis,
All the bases covered already and I too like David's re-post. Nice action captured. There is a slight halo around RH tree...smoothing it will be the final touch!
