Snowy while commuting!

My drive home from work Friday provided a close encounter with our first regional snowy owl. And I had my camera in the car from a morning stop at a lake! Yes, the bird was on an ugly post so I framed just a head portrait. But the sun had set and there was a pink sky. So unplanned shots I will take! Canon 500mm F4 out my open window on bean bag. Not there today-so just passing through.
