Imgae created this morning in overcast conditions with diffuse light in Salisbury MA.

Angle isn't ideal but there was nowhere to back up to and I didn't have a ladder with me :)

Nikon D300s, 500VR, iSO 800, f 6.3, 1/400, +2.0 EV

Unlike the late Tom Vezo, I love white skies and high key. Perfect EXP here and sharp as a tack. No need to back up for me..... +2 for Nikon is a ton. There is nothing like knowing your equipment!

Jim, Really nice high key image.Beautifully exposed w/ great detail. I love seeing the tail fanned like that. Well done.

Another fan of high key images and this is a beauty. Wonderful pose and detail and excellent eye contact. Fine work Jim.

Another fan of white skies here Jim, of course, when the bird is exposed in a correct way like you did. The shooting angle is a bit steped but the image works very well for me :-)

I'm not a fan of high key skies, but this is a darn good image. Excellent work on exposure, Jim. That brought out some good detail that most would have lost.

I'm on the side of my lost friend Tom when it comes to high key - although they can be compelling at times. All things considered though, nice job with the photo Jim. Agree that +2 for Nikon is a lot, but works here.
