Anhinga at Everglades today.Wasn't alot to shoot these past 2 weeks ! What's going on with the Trail this season ?

The image is dramatic and beautiful.
I've seen very little there this winter. Green Cay was nearly birdless this AM.I'm going to try Shark Valley tomorrow AM.
I think the anhingas' numbers are increasing. This year and last year I've regularly seen a few specimens along the Turnpike farther north than in prior years -- past Delray and Boynton Beach -- wherever there's a canal.

Thanks david.Yeah the Anhinga/Cormorant don't seem to be feeding much near the trail entrance anymore.Yes there are a couple but I'ved noticed most of them Flying more north and a little further south to fish now.Too bad it makes for a slow day :-(

Way Cool Patrick !!!!! Glad you were able to get the yawn on frame Most often than not it goes out of frame and catches by surprise

Excellent sharpness and bg Nailed the exp for feather detail I like it all Big Congrats !!!!!

Very funny pose, I like the details and BG and composition. Maybe a tad less contrast.

Thanks for comments.You are right Alfred it cought me by supprise also, But what saved me is that I was shooting him none stop , so it happened at a time when I was firing.
