This photo was taken on the beach in Fort Myers, Florida late in the day with the tide going out.

Sharp with nice reflections and patterns in the sand/water. The head angle is an image killer.... Getting down and muddy would have been nice but might have negated some of the patterns.

Very interesting texture with the mounds and interrupted reflection. I like it!

The bird seems a bit soft, I think some USM would help. "Golden Hour" fans will likely disagree, but I'd try adjusting the white balance a bit towards a less yellow cast. And the very square and fairly centered crop seems less than ideal to me... maybe take some off the top for a more horizontal frame?

Sounds pretty critical... but meant helpfully. Did I say... I like it! :)

The light and pose look pretty good. Too bad the bird is angled away from you and I would have probably gone for a lower angle.
