BTW, The green object in the corner of the eye is an aphid. Next post will not be a Big Cat ;)

Like the reflection of the sun, though the light is a little harsh.

Would prefer a lower POV to get a better a view of the eye.....though not always possible when on a safari vehicle!

Russell, occassionally I do push it in getting my some of my shots, however I was happy to get this low down. Any lower and I might have been getting very close and personal. LOL

I pushed the curves a fraction as I wanted a bit more contrast/depth in the overall image, the original is a bit less moody.

Another 3mm lower to reveal the whole iris would have been perfect.

I agree with Marc. Just a wee bit lower would have been great. However, you may already be working on the limit. Overall, I like the composition and the image.
