Hi Lance, what a great sky and love the palm trees as not many in Northern Michigan. I browser cropped all the foreground water as to me too much negative space. To me it looked much better, but I'm wrong most of the time

Hey Lance, in this case I think Curly is right! .....but I will offer another possible thought....did the land curve on the left and connect to the upper shoreline.....otherwise a horizontal with the palm silhouette would be fine....but nice thought and cool perspective.

Great sky, love the blue water and the silhouetted palms. Interested thought from Roman on a wider view perhaps getting the curvature of the inlet. For for me a crop below the palms on the furthermost landmass is the strongest composition in this image.

Hi Lance, great advice given from previous comments. There are some variables which could be tried with the image. I feel it's strength lies in the sky, palm silouettes and reddish pool below the silouettes.
Another good point is I can see detail in the middle brush area...

Hi Lance - Agree with all that has been said. Beautiful sky.
