One of my favourite birds to see in Thailand is the Open-billed stork, there are a few large colonies established there.

Nice flight shot, positioning the bird a bit higher in comp would help balance the image as you can really feel the big wing pulling everything downwards.

Very sharp at 1/200th Suzanne! Great bird!

I too was thinking that, but the embedded exif reads 1/2000s.;) Good pose. I agree about placing the bird higher, and find the WB a little too "muddy" yellow?

Beautiful flight shot with good pose & detail. Colouring quite different from the African openbilled stork (Anostomus lamelligerus)- the latter is quite dark. Thanks for sharing.

Very lovely flight pose and Suzanne and well composed. Wondering if a touch of S/H would lighten up the under wing a tad. Many thanks for sharing this with us.

At first I thought it had a deformed bill. Excellent flight shot of this interesting looking stork. Well done!
