birds found in the wild usually with groups of Wood Ducks.

I really like the shot here James. However, I could be wrong, but I thought the Mandarin's you see in the wild are ones that have escaped captivity. Everything I know about them suggestes they are only wild in Asia. Still, would love to see and photograph one and I think you did a good job presenting the one you found here!

These have got to be one of the most crazy looking ducks around James. There is so much going on in the plummage it is hard to see everything. You did an excellent job getting low and giving a great look at all the various details. Excellent job getting this one.
