What would you do?

Here is a photo of an eagle trying to break a branch off the tree. I like this photo because of it's behavorial nature. I could spend a lot of time clearing the clutter out to get a "pretty picture", leave it the way it is, or maybe there is some middle ground.

Hi John,
I like this as presented, as it shows the natural habitat. I like the capture angle. would suggest on boosting the contrast and saturation on the subject to make him pop out...looking forward to your next one...

Thank you, Kostas, for your input. I agree, a little more saturation will help.

I don't care for your crop and 'cleanup', though. The image now looks way unbalanced.

Some sort of cropping would be my preference John, if the eagle was placed lower right in the original I would have been fine with it, as presented looks centered !!

Here is an alternative crop having the bird more to the corner, in general small birds in frame look better toward the corners !! Do like the behavior very much and agree showing the environment would be important !!!

Hi John, nice capture and I like Al's suggested crop and agree it needs a bit more saturation.
