I have created this 18 image stitch on South Africa's beautiful Garden Route coastline. This is the beach at the small coastal town of Herolds Bay.

Hi Elmar,
Stitch looks VG. The small size limit here on BPN makes for a tough assesment......I like the comp flow of the scene but I do feel the light is a bit harsh....but do remember.....I am judging a small image. I do like the pano presentation as it showcases the bay nicely.

Thanks Roman. Yes, the light is a bit harsh as we stopped at this spot a couple of hours before noon. It was however so beautiful that I could not let the opportunity for a photograph pass by. I appreciate your comments!

Hi Elmar, Agree with Roman regarding the light but feel you did a good job with composition and put together 18 images nicely. Good job minimalising the sky.

Pretty impressive with image stitch panorama! Agree with Roman and Dave on the light. Excellent work. TFS.

Elmer,

I can see why this attracted you. The harsh light can be partially addressed using a reverse s-curve (see my tutorial here http://www.birdphotographers.net/forums/showthread.php?t=20434).

We also have a 1024x800 pixel image size limit. Your at 984. Combine that with eliminating the border and the presentation can be better.

My repost employs the reverse s-curve.

Thanks for posting.

Thanks Robert. I tried the reverse S-curve, but I am working in Elements and I am not sure how successful the attempt was. Here is the repost without the border.
