Dusk at White Sands

Leaving White Sands for Bosque in a few but figured I'd post one from white sands before I drive back. I liked the blue/almost ice like look of the dunes compared to the dusk sky. I did have more interest higher in the sky....but felt the pano crop accentuated the shapes and lines. I hope to get to a few more later tonight.
Canon Mark lll with the 28-135mm lens at 109mm for 1/5 sec at f22 and ISO 200.

As usual, your images of iconic places are different....not the usual white sand and blue sky. I love the undulating sensual lines in the sand and in the sky too. I also like the complimentary colors of yellow against blue.

Roman really like the ondulating shapes and shadows, colors. But, my curiosity: did you use any posttreatment? I don't think!.. so the place is really nice.

Hey Roman, Nice band of warm colored sky contrasting with cool blue layered dunes. This makes for an interesting comp of a desolate place.
