Taken on the coast of California with the Canon Digital rebel and the 17-40mm lens, mounted on a tripod. Set manually at f22 for 20 seconds with a Singh Ray Vari ND filter set to 9 stops density. I usually do nature landscapes but my sole exceptions is lighthouses. I love expirimenting with long exposures of ocean waves.
As always, comments welcome and appreciated.

i love it!! the only thing i see is it may need a tick counter-clock rotation. lighthouse seems to be leaning a bit to the right. excellent exposure!!!!

Nice effect on the water. The whites (or grays) could pop a bit more but that is a matter of taste. I don't like the distortion of the house, an artifact of being in the corner of such a wide lens, perhaps clean it up so that the angles are correct? This is a great example of how to use those varying ND filters. All in all a cool, moody image, well done.

Nice work Roman. The nits mentioned.

I use ND Filters all the time with water to get the slow shutter speed. Great use here.
