When timed correctly, the crane pools are a great place to be for the full moon setting as the sun is rising.

Hey David,
Nice job capturing a little different take on an often photographed area. The central placement of the tree doesn't bother me as it is balanced nicely by the V formation of the geese and the sitting flock on the left. I may prefer a bit off the bottom as the formation isn't as strong there but it isn't that much different from the OP. Nice job composing a different take on this subject!

Hi David,Nice soft light with a very interesting tree that is nicely colored. The setting moon is a great addition along with the reflection. For my taste I find the comp better balanced cropped from the left spaced before the tree creating almost a vertical image.Reason being I feel the tree is the most dominant area of the image and needs to be balanced with the moon.

I agree with Roman and Dave. Well done for the reasons mentioned.

I really like this image, but I woud prefer all reflections except the tree eliminated. I think it makes a stronger statement not seeing the moon and the geese in the water - only in the sky. It simplifies a very strong composition.

Very complex image, works for me as presented.

Beautiful shot David. I would crop a bit off the right to off center the tree. I think the bird reflections add a lot to the shot.
