Attic of La Pedrera

Gaudi's architecture can be seen in the attic of La Pedrera in Barcelona, Spain. Cathenary arches of 270 bricks each create a structure similar to a skeleton, which produce unusual effects of perspective. The attic covers aproximately 800 square meters. The main function of the attic is to provide thermal insulation for the building.
