Postcard - Socorro, New Mexico

If you have been to Bosque you know that there is a tiny town called Socorro that lies just a few miles north of the preserve, between the Rio Grande Valley and the Magdalena Mountains. Many people stay there while visiting the Bosque. This is a picture looking up a dirt road that runs close to the Rio Grande River (behind me on the right), out over the town of Socorro with the mountains in the distance. Really a lovely place to visit. The skies go on forever... :)
