Greetings from Bosque! Running my tour here in Bosque and yesterday morning was our first day. Was near the flight deck when the color spread towards the west. Barely got my camera out as the color quickly faded. Not the hotbed of landscape photography here in Bosque.....but couldn't pass this one up. Didn't use any filters!
Canon 1D Mark lll with the 28-135mm lens at 28mm and f22 for 1/4 sec at ISO 800 (was shooting BIF). Noise Ninja used in PP'ing. Colors in this direction only lasted about 1 minute!

Beautiful composition, Roman. I love those gorgeous colors. The sky makes it standout well.

Hi Roman, quick thinking with great results. It does help to get up early, not only to spot birds!

Hi Roman, The lighting, which is the key element in photography is handled beautifully. The sky makes the image along with a strong leading line. Exposure is also handled well...

very nice scene Roman...to me the mountains and sky look a little too soft and flat (although the colours and tones are gorgeous), might help sharpening slightly or adding some local contrast enhancement (not to the foreground)?

The mountains and the sky are fantastic. If you were 50 feet tall you could that gotten the reeds in the FG out of the image (merging with the mountains and sky). :)

I do like the reflection in the water in the FG and how it acts as a leading line.

He he he! I needed a laugh today Robert! I'm working on the 50 ft. thing...but gravity and the beer love are making it tough!

Nice soft light. Wonderful reflection. Enjoy. Everybody has got to be somewhere. You're in Bosque. I was in Belmar. Hardly seems fair! :(

Roman,

Love the color and comp. You have a wonderful eye for landscapes.
FYI- there is a wide halo across the entire mt top ridge, an easy after the fact fix is to use the clone tool in darken mode going over the light halo.

Best,

Chas
