Bighorn Sheep

I captured this bighorn in Dumont this morning. The rut must be winding down, they were not very active.
Is the ewe too distracting in this one? Thanks for looking.

Nice stout ram. I like the gold and brown tones. The OOF ewe gives a hint of what the rut is about. A bit more separation from the ram to maybe a full view of the body would've been nice but this works for me as well.

No....the ewe adds to the "love story". Nice shot....the composition of the ram's horn and eye is excellent.

Stunning light, with well exposed sharp detail on the bighorn Dan. Im going to be honest and say the ewe is a bit distracting, especially with both heads being so close.
