Something I was playing with last summer while in South Carolina. I wanted to capture all the green in the woods there and put this one together. The woods were a bit shady along with a minor breeze. There's a minor crop performed, and a few other minor tweaks. I also removed some of the sand on the palm. Would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks.

Neat idea, Mike. I'd either take a little off the top or a little off the bottom - everything else looks very nice. I really like that we get to see the dark shadow behind the fern.

This is a good way of showcasing the greens. Nice composition and lines. I like the curved lines of the fern against the straight lines of the palm. I would have liked to see the fern a bit to the lower right.

Mike,

Like your use of graphics in this image. Feel the dark areas between the fronds helps to impart a 3 D effect.

Thanks for sharing...

Pretty cool image, my friend. The shadow is my favorite part.

I like the composition ! The thing I would rather not see is the dark shadow. I also think this one has a lot of room to play with if you don't mind some post-processing.
