Dear All
Made this with D700, 600mm, ISO 400, 1/1600, tripod , f5.6 in early morning
PP wise crop , level , and .8 Gaussian blurr on BG
this is one of the most endangeroued species and most shy one
All C & C are most welcome and much appreciated
Harshad

Bhai this is magnificent! love the running pose, the sweet golden light, and the rare animal you captured.

are you finding it hard to get used to the FF D700 after shooting so much with the 1.5 crop factor of the D300?

Never seen one of these before, a very rare capture.
I presume it is running downhill, but wonder whether straightening the BG would work.
I think the foreground is a little too blurred given the strip of in focus grass.

Not much Morkelbhai as I have 600mm , and with FF camera I am learning lot to get closer to birds ,
Noise handling and image quality is far better in D700 compared to D300, But for my under 15cm birds I miss my D300, Lets hope Nikon come up with 18 or 21 MP crop body

Not sure about tilt either, but looks fine to me anyways Harshadbhai. Love the early morning light too. :)

Nice image. I like the pose and the light. You have space to correct the noticeable tilt. Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,

Great capture of a rare sight. I would straighten the bg as the viewer will feel it's tilted. Wish he were running into the light instead of away from it, but you got the best shot you could in the circumstances.

I like everything about your image, Harshad, and I am very fond of wolf images so this rarity is special. The slope does not bother- before reading comments I assumed he is running downhill. Any more images of this individual?

Great moment captured HB. Any wolf shot is extraordinary and this one is very special. Love those big feet!

Nice light and great pose. The prancing ears forward look make him seem very happy.

Very nice action image in good light Harshad.

Lets hope Nikon come up with 18 or 21 MP crop body
As long as it has the same low ISO quality or better than D700/D3;).
Otherwise, for me it wouldn't be worth the upgrade.

Congrats on the sighting and the capture. The angle of the wolf and the lines of color in the BG make the slope work for me.

Hi Harshadbhai, stunning light, and I love the colours in this. Good running posture, and leave the BG/ tilt as is. (if you changed it, the wolf would be running uphill.) Congrats on a fine image.

Beautiful capture Harshad. I for one don't mind the tilt and like it as it is. :-)

Cheers,
