From early Oct, a trip through the Smokies. This was from Clingman's Dome. A front moved in from the north and I used a 30s exp. to give the clouds some movement. I wasn't worried about diffraction by stopping down because the scene was not detail critical. It would have been better to use a nd filter but I didn't have a step-down ring to match the macro.

Very cool idea, I like the floating clouds/fog. Light and composition work really well, too.

Hi Paul, A magical time well captured.I almost get the sense of heavy seas crashing over rocks. Good minimalization of sky along with wonderful lighting. Well handled...

Good job using the slow exposure. Composition and proportions of dark (bottom), cloud flow (middle) and sky (top) just right. Though not quite ROT, it did not need to be as the top and bottom are the frame for the cloud flow. Well done Paul.

Hey Paul,
Nice to have you back! Very nice with the entire flow of the fog and colors and positioning of the hill coming out of the fog well thought out. Probably a web downsize issue.....jut a hair more lightening of the FG ridgeline on the left 1/3 for my tastes. All in all a super feel and mood to this and the liquid fog puts it off the charts!
