Wild dog sightings are fairly scarce in most cases, so when one has a sighting of a pack between 20-25 dogs, with a lot of pups too, you make the most of it. This image is just for sharing, as most of the dogs are facing the wrong way. Its just an experience to watch their behaviour. They had killed something the night before and the youngsters were having their breakfast. Taken in the Sabi Sabi private game reserve last year.

A nice behaviour shot...i think you could crop this tighter... loose the foliage at top ... its a pity that none of dogs looked at you to make eye contact...

Thanks Peter. Here's your suggestion. I have all sorts of shots of these guys with eye contact. They were all over the place. As I said, this was more to share, and the most dogs together.

Thanks for sharing this Stu. Like Peter's crop suggestion, but must have been fabulous to witness. Cheers. Man I would love to see this. What a privilege. We just don't appreciate this in our comfy armchairs Stu.

Great sighting Stuart, it is all to typical of wild dogs to not be overly helpful in posing!

Couldn't agree more Stuart, very nice behavioral image.

Wonderful behavioral image and I too like the tighter crop. Thanks for sharing. When we were in Botswana we only saw the wild dogs once and what a thrill it was. Have really been enjoying your series Stuart.
