This is my first photo post so im hopeing it looks ok once uploaded ,This is the first Ibis seen on the east coast of Linconshire for 30 years so one could say its very rare i was very pleased to get a few shot's of it and quite like this angle.
i mainly shoot BIF shot's and most of the time hand hold as it give's me the full range of movment.

Hi Robert,

Nice first post of this lovely Glossy Ibis. I like the way you caught the colors on the bird's right wing. The position isn't ideal because the left wing is in shadow and the bird is past you with the head angled away from you. I would crop some from the bottom.

It is a nice image of the ibis in flight. Good exposure and sharp. It would have been better if the shadow hadn't been on the left wing. Did you get a series of this one flying with perhaps the left wing in a different position that would have gotten more light?

i got this one but non comeing at me just the way it was going away from me , but it has more light on it.

There's always tradeoffs but I think I like this one even better. The left wing has good light and there is a reduced area of shadow on the other wing....less noticeable.
