Its always a challance to make a foto of animals in the snow and keeping detail in bboth white and collared parts.

Nice image of an elusive cat. Placement in frame looks good. I adjusted the image a little in levels and a little sharpening. See what you think.

stunning shot of an animal you don't see that often in the forums. to me the repost looks a little 'plastic' and I think I would prefer something in between the OP and repost :)

Great capture Alexander. I also think that somewhere between the original post and the re-post would be best. The whites around the eye are best in the original but the colour in the re-post look better.

Was this a wild animal or a N.American game farm animal ? Either way its a super cat to see and photograph. I am keen to encourage eco-tourism to photograph large (or small) cats in the wild. If they are not persecuted then they can become used to people enough that they can be seen regularly. So I am always interested to see where people are photographing cats.

By the way Alexander, is this not a European lynx ? A bobcat is an American species that does not have black all around the tail.
