Since I haven't done much photography in the last two years I have to dig deep into my files to find some images I have never processed. Got this one here in Sydney when this young Nankeen Kestrel was busy learning how to hunt Cicadas on a beautiful early summer morning.

About 70% of full frame

Great light, BG, and sharpness. Perfect exposure too. I just wish for a tad bit more eye contact. I do like this image a lot though!

These shots are tough to get, good job with action and dive pose. nice BG too, agree with a bit more eye contact here. TFS

Hi Ofer: This is a great action image of one of my favorite birds with delicious color on the subject and background. Excellent composition and sharp too. Nice.

I like this one quite a bit -- shows the motion of the dive well. I don't think eye contact is necessary here -- he's obviously watching where he is going...

Great capture, Ofer !! Like the intense stare in the eyes as it focuses on the job at hand so lack of eye contact does not faze this viewer.
Best regards

Lovely posture, background and light! A slightly higher shutter speed might have eliminated all signs of lens blur?

Gorgeous image!
The lens blur in the wing tips has nothing to do with shutter speed and everything to do with DOF and f-stop. I like the OOF wing tips as it implies some motion even though there is no sign of motion blur at all.
Excellent work Ofer.
