Not my "normal" sort of image, I was surprised to see that the feet do not appear to move when flying.

I like the idea and soft light and wish the bird were flying towards you. I could also see this as a pano crop.

Looks good, Michael. Agree with Axel on crop - I would remove the dark band at the top and then lighten the 2 dark areas on the shore.

You had a great idea here. I think I would saturate and sharpen the crane's head just a tad. Really like the movement the capture creates.
