I know that many of you at BPN are routinely published in magazines and calendars but for the rest of us a calendar cover is a truly exciting day!! I'm reposting my hooded merganser image as shown in its new home. The Missouri Department of Conservation has a long history (25 years) of producing a beautiful nature calendar and it is purchased every year by over 60,000 Missourians and a few out-of-staters as well. Thanks for all of your help in making my images much better.

For me the first honor is being out in nature before these awesome creatures watching and photographing them. The next honor is seeing the fruits of our labor (of love) published. My hat comes off to you. This is a beauty!
