Here's a photo from my college photo classes in the past. We would go to Chincoteague N.P. in Virginia. Our instructor had given us a lecture on photographic panning techniques. Large crop from a scanned chrome.This turned out artsy.

Nikon N90S, Nikkor 80- 200 f/ 2.8 and Nikon 1.6TC HH. Shot with Fuji Velvia. No idea of my exposure.

How fun to look back on images from years ago. Love the action you captured here. You did not mention the shutter speed and F stop in your techs. The image appears soft. Really like the panoramic crop you chose for this image and many thanks for sharing Charles.

Judy,

I don't now the exposure. It was a large crop from a slide. I think that has a lot to do with the softness.

I felt due to the softness it's more of an artistic approach.

The pano composition works here. It is nice to look back at the images that we had created some time back. Lot of learnings can be had from those images. Thanks for sharing.
