Just a group of oak leaves. I converted the image to B&W using channel mixer and then reduced the opacity to get this toned effect. Several curves layers and some burning on the BG leaves helped too. I then burned the edges to give it a slight vignette, and applied the dry brush filter. Any C&C are welcome!

this one has a lot of depth compared to previous similar images.

Wonderful tones and the self layering of the leaves gives nice depth for such a close above shot. Very nicely thought out and worked Chris.

Christopher, Your color tones and range are super! Interesting thought to use the dry brush-very subtle. I like this very much.

Like the tonal range and the placement of the leaves Christopher. Like how you are going from light to dark. Well done.

One of your best leaf images that I have seen.

Christopher, Your work is a wonderful example of a technique that Ben Wilmore teaches at his seminars. I went to one in Houston a few months ago and he emphasized brightening your subject to bring it forward and darkening areas around it to push them backward. Great job!
