Gorgeous image and great timing.
I thought it could be a tad darker so tried Color Variations / Highlights / Darken.
Preferred my result slightly.
Look forward to seeing more beautiful flight captures from you.

Thanks for the tip - I'm very UN-proficient with PS, and have a lot to learn.
New CS3 coming this week, so steep learning curve in the next few months!

Exposure looks spot-on viewed on my monitor Sandy. This is a very nice flight capture and IMO the only improvement would be a brighter eye. Well done!!

Wonderful posture, exposure, sharpness and great background as well. Selective lightening of the eye will make it even more striking.

This shot looks like a thank you! Or a take a bow! Which you should. I am personally not bothered by the eye. Some may be but in this case because it is a stopping action, or air brakes, it is something I could overlook. Was this subject landing on the nest? Excellent shot here. Hang it on the wall.

Very nice image, sharp with great detail. I like the composition. I'm ok with the eye being a little dark as well. The only thing that draws my attention is the shadow on the tips of the bird's left wing. Keep up the good work!

Well done, Sandy! I love the bg and the in flight pose. I can't remember if the bird was looking down hunting for a Snail or looking down to see where to land.
