Because Fish and Wildlife Officers have the authority to capture, move or use for training, any animal, reptile or bird. It is written in the Florida Statues...

I don't see that they have any authority to be so negligent and lose and animal as they did....

How do you know they were negligent.. Were you there when the Alligator escaped..?? Might want to get the whole story before jumping to conclusions...

And, that electrical tape will slip off his nose in a day or two.

I don't see any set of circumstances where losing an alligator could be anything other than negligent--at least to the lower civil standard.
