I created this image in the <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comhttp://www.birdphotographers.net/forums/ /><st1:PlaceName alt=</st1:PlaceName>Kgalagdi <st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Transfrontier</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType w:st="on">Park. </st1:PlaceType></ST1:pWe were lucky to get them at sunset just before gate closing time. Giraffes are only found in the south western parts of the park around the <ST1:p<st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Aub</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType w:st="on">River</st1:PlaceType></ST1:p.

Very lovely and high impact image. Love the warm sky and subject's clarity. Seeing the feet also would have put this over the top!

What a beautiful shot Hendri. I think the clouds at the top really add to the composition.

Super comp mate, and you have processed the silhouette perfectly. In a way, Im glad the sun is hidden behind the giraffe. Great image.

Nice one! I like the sharpness, especially the upper tree. I also like the clouds at the top.
