This was made in really nice light along the San Pedro River in Sierra Vista, AZ just as the light was getting really warm.

The BG is the river below a small rise in the bank.

Light is nice and I like it in sidelight. Dark BG works well with the bright yellow. Composition works for me.

If you are not adverse to it, could do a version with the unopened flower and stem cloned out.

Thanks! I'm certainly not averse to cloning out the oof flower. I thought it might add some interest, but I can see how it might detract too.

No no Jim leave as is the OOF bud adds some balance to the comp, it would be a little boring without it.

I like it as is. Love the warm light especially.

Hi Jim,

I agree with Robert to leave the OOF bud in as it balances the composition well.
I think some noise reduction might really improve this as there is quite a bit of noise in the BG.

Love the light!

Thanks all.

I did some NR in CS3, but it seems like I need to get Noise Ninja or some other plug in. Maybe one of the NIK products. . .
