This is an awesome image Clement, showing under and top of the wing plumage at the same time, head turn has given you great eye contact.

Looks like you were pretty close to the Falcon, was this a setup shot? Can you share more details?

Dear Arash,

This was photographed from a jeep, not a big fan of setup-photography. Love to move around and shoot birds from vehicle or on foot. It was around 50 feet from the subject. This particular bird was using this perch often hence waited their one cold winter morning and got the shot around 9am.

Thanks Clement, well worth the wait!

Clement - Man, this one just pops off the screen with intricate detail bathed in soft, natural light. I love this one for sure. My cat saw it and ran under the table for safety (smile). I like the way the left talon is up in the air a little. Did I say I really love this photo?

The bird looks great against that BG and the amount of detail you brought out in the feathers is amazing. Perfect head turn from this position also. Wouldn't change a thing. Congrats

A winner for sure!

I can't ask for better details and wing position. The head turn here really makes the image. Killer BG.

And this one was made with a 30D!, that's my camera!

Terrific shot Clement.

Thanks for the details. A well deserved photo as you obviously used your observations and knowledge of the bird to go back to get the peregrine another day. Excellent.

As said in another bird forum about this same bird, I would say it again. "Whenever I see this bird in future, I will just watch it from my Binoculars and not venture to photograph since you have not kept any room for improvement http://www.birdphotographers.net/forums/images/icons/icon7.gif. Even matching it is going to be very very difficult"
Thanks for Sharing.
