Not the best HA here but I liked the feeding action. I've been lucky as of late with finding Merlin everywhere. So far none of them have been skittish and I've been able to get close without them having a care in the world that I was there. Sun was a little harsh still but you take what you can I guess. I also like the way the perch makes a sort of peace sign;). I have two frames of her flying off but am quite limited with my lens' auto focusing ability with moving birds and will post one next for your opinions. Hope you like it.
All C/C appreciated.

Brian, good to see him enjoying his meal, and you have captured good detail on the merlin. I cant help thinking if he wasnt concerned about you, moving to your right may have given you a better angle, without him flying away.

Agree with Stuart about moving to the right if it was possible ....nice capture ..... it does look like a peace sign ...good observation :)

Nice capture of behavior Brain, self critique is the best here, sometimes it's actually better to stay farther in order to avoid the steep angle and with a crop camera and 500 you have lots of reach and won't hurt as much.

Thanks for the comments and critiques. The reason for me not moving to the right is that I was standing on the hood of my car for a less steep angle and I couldn't move the car over anymore because of another tree in the way.
