Even though Gulls themselves are great predators, this picture shows the magnificiance of a Falco when it comes to killing large prey, Amazing shot shot this James. Great low angle, clarity and awesome BG to match it all.

Fantastic caputure for both of you , lovely compo and BG here
flesh (?) in beak adds to action here
If mine I may try to pull off saturation of water by few points

great shot and angle James - it needs some NR on the BG though :)

Super low angle, and love the eye contact. I agree that the water seems a tad oversaturated, and with the BG needing some NR.

James, Great capture. I think I would lighten the image a few points. Really nice details.

James, very cool capture. I have to ask you because I saw another photo series on another site of this same event: how close were you to this bird and how many other photographers were present? Seems there was a little controversy over how close photographers were getting to the bird. Just curious of your take. Thanks.

Getting a raptor feeding is always a huge bonus and this is a great find. Lots of detail on him and love the open mouth. I wonder if a slightly higher angle would of been better and give us a better look at the prey? I'd lighten the BG a bit as it is very dark. Congrats

Wow.....the action is excellent.....says it all. A few suggestions have been made such as a little NR and desaturating the blue. However.....when I first saw this I thought that it was a fine painting with the dramatic colors and details. Oh how I do like this one!

I love his guilty looks :)
This is an excellent image and I also like the drama as presented.

Killer one Indeed, would clean the noise out a bit in the BG, the feeding pose looks great, and the flesh in the mouth adds interest, congrats..
