Hi Jan, welcome to BPN. I like the flight angle, and good to see his catch in the beak. Colours look good, and I like the BG. There is a sharpening halo around most of the bird. Keep them coming.

Welcome to BPN Jan. Super flight pose and the addition of dinner a good bonus. Head angle and eye contact very good too. Sharpening been mentioned. Look forward to seeing more. Lovely Album....to my shame, i haven't even considered that yet... must do. Thanks for sharing, Dave

Hi Jan: What an interesting color combination and I like the way you are shooting from over the bird. I usually see bee eaters on a tree limb. Thanks.

Hi Jan, This is a lovely image. I love the view of the back of the wings and tail. The raised head and prey add interest and help engage my attention. I think the blue background helps display the bird nicely. The exposure look good as you have good detail throughout. Sharpening halo already mentioned. Thanks for sharing.

Howdy and welcome Jan!! The orange against the blue works well to empower both here on this one being they are complimentary. Others nits noted. Please post your shooting data a little info about the shot and your thoughts with your pictures--It helps tremendously for all to make commentary.

Welcome to BPN. Absolutely stunning pose and you did great with the composition. Agree on the halo. Your exposure is right on the money. You have acquired absolutely gorgeous colors here!

Welcome Jan, everything been said already; for me the best of this image is the view from above and subtle colours. Keep posting- your images in the album are all worth displaying here.

Welcome, Jan!
What a beautiful image. It has superior colors and the angle reveals a lot about the bird.
Please tell us the details of your equipment used, and the settings.
