This was taking last year in Cody when Fabs and I went out with Dale Franz to photograph the big horned sheep . It was a fabulous trip and we had many wonderful opportunities both there and in yellowstone.

Super low shot Judy. Gives feeling of immense power. Love the habitat too. Nicely done.

What I love here is a prehistoric denizen shown so beautifully in its natural elements

Hi Judy - This is a beautiful bison shot and the background provides habitat perspective. The only thing this photo is missing is a little frozen snot but I'm okay with that (smile). I photographed bison at the Tallgrass Nature Reserve in Oklahoma and I understand how nervous you can get when they approach that close. Good job on not getting the bison version of "buck fever." Thanks.

Beautiful capture Judy! I love how snow gives such a great quality of light for bison shots, and you captured it so well. Congrats.

Hi Judy,
I like the head on pose, the BG, and the diagonal line greated by the grass on the left, the face, and the little hill. I think you could go a little darker on the face and still keep the detail.

Judy, great head on angle, and love the direct eye contact. Nicely framed between the two mounds in the FG, and good to see the surrounding snow.

Judy I really like the eye contact and the snow on the hump of this bull. Lovely habitat image.

The perspective and head on approach make this well composed and an appealing image.

Curious as to your chosen ISO.

Love the head on stare and the dusting of snow on the back. Very impressive bison!
