Just a chipmunk on a rock but these critters are much harder to photograph in the wilds of Missouri than in National Parks and other public places. There is a big group of rocks on our farm we call "Thousand Rocks" where chipmunks tend to hang out in the fall eating acorns. I like the light and warmth of this image and I hope you all get some enjoyment from it. The shot is a little tight but its full frame with a tree behind my back.

I love the way these little guys hold their food. Another vote for toning the BG a tad. Well captured Danny.

Excellent low angle and eye contact in this capture and I like the setting. Agree toning done the BG is a good suggestion. Many thanks for sharing Danny.

Harshad - I'm so glad you didn't suggest that I remove that stick. Thanks again for commenting on all of my posts. I appreciate it, and thanks to everybody else for looking and providing tips.

Nicely detailed. I like the DOF you've got on him. I'd try lightening the darker BG spot rather than toning down the brighter areas.
